Our Story
Our story begins when we leave our daily life, 9-5 jobs, to travel the world and celebrate our love in the Far East. As a young couple, we felt there was more to life than the routine we lived in, and we wanted to use our creativity every day.
So we bought a flight ticket, packed our lives in a bag, and promised ourselves that we would pursue this dream. To use our creativity for the better while celebrating everyday life and spreading love and kindness in this world.
Inspired by the gemstone industry in Sri Lanka and the local jewelry artisans, it was an epiphany. We knew immediately this is what we wanted to do, share this incredible natural resource that is unique and colorful like each of us humans.

Our vision isn't just to sell jewelry but share stories of love, gratitude, and appreciation. Our way of life is all JAYA represents. We are motivated by people and nature. That is why it is so vital for us to give back to this beautiful world.

Sri Lanka is renowned for having unique gemstones. In this land, there are many exquisite and rare gemstones to be found. The method used to mine the gems is the most impressive. To protect the forests, they dig the ground by hand rather than using machinery. It takes place in a way that preserves nature in its ideal state.

Each piece is handcrafted by local artisans using responsibly sourced precious and semi-precious stones and metals. In this process, the gems are found, polished, and cut into fine jewelry that makes you feel like any day is a special occasion.
